SSR Closed end wheel nuts...Studs question

Hi All,

I am thinking about finishing off the look and picking up some SSR Wheel nuts to go with the rims.

As you can see, they are closed end, so i am a little worried about picking the right size Studs.

The SSR nuts are - M12 x 1.5 pitch

Now i am currently running no spacers, but i think i will be installing 10mm front and rear spacers.

Questions is will 75mm studs be able to work whether i run spacers or not?

My Rims

I was looking at the following studs
http://www.machtschnell.com/product/...conversion-kit

but under the 75mm it says

"- 75mm length allows for most spacer thicknesses (up to +12mm) to be used without changing studs"

What does it mean, to be used without changing studs. Does that mean you do not need to change the studs whether or not you use spacers?
I am sure it is obvious, but just want to confirm as i am a little out of my depth with studs...

Plus i do not want to get anything wrong as i recently experienced my wheel coming off at the track

ok with those nut lengths

75mm stud will poke out past the end 1-2mm with NO spacers. (will bind up). SO THATS A NO GO
75mm stud WITH a 10mm spacer will sink in about 8mm. SO THAT WORKS

Im running a 75mm with the same nut length as those SSR's but mine are open ended which eliminates the possibility of the stud binding up being if they are closed ended.

YOU LEGEND

thanks for getting back to me bud!

So as long as i run at least a 5mm spacer, it should be absolutely fine to run the closed ends correct. I just cant run the closed ends without any spacers as it will 'bind' up.

Cheers!

youre right...you can run a 5mm and be ok without binding and or you can run a 56mm (oem length) with those nuts. i know i know the SSR logo is important lol

lol the SSR logos are vital. I know it would be easier running open ended nuts...but this is the way i want to go.

Thanks for the pics, that looks perfect how much it sticks out once installed. I never wanted it to protrude to far from the face of the wheel.

HUGE THANKS! You have put my mind at ease and i have placed the order.

Just finalising the studs i get... Most likely CA Automotive or Apex...
