I need someone to fix a car stereo.

My girlfriend has two subs in an enclosure. An amp and a capacitor power the subs. We were driving the other day and the subs starting hitting even though the radio was off. She was scared the subs would blow so I unhooked the power to the subs from the battery. But the subs kept hitting. Then I realized they still were getting power from the capacitor. I unhooked the subs from the capacitor and they have been quiet ever sense.

What went wrong? Maybe the power line got crossed with another line?

I'm horrible with car electronics, so I just would rather pay someone to fix this.

We are in Pacific Beach but can drive anywhere. We are usually free on weekends.
