Hey guys just moved up here from Arizona and was wondering what a good and affordable shop is around here. My 328i is having some mechanical issues and i took it to pepboys just cause its right across the street from my job and they wanna charge waaaaayyy to much money for something i dont think should be that much. Any good recommendations? I want this car to be in the best shape possible right now

warner's muffler shop. they've done the oem exhaust mod several times and they charge a very fair price.

So I brought in my car to BMW Vista earlier this month for a check engine light.

Giant D-bag Bill Amodeo was my service adviser. They told me that they needed to replace all 3 injectors, all 3 coils, and all 3 spark plugs to the tune of $3,253.00.

$3k for 3 injectors, plugs, and coils?

The code was "bank 1 running lean." I think they just pulled the code and thought, "what can we justify charging?"

Euro Auto Spot did a smoke test on my system, determined the misfire was being caused by leaking diverter valves, and did the job for $338. I ended up paying only $100 because of my extended warranty.

$100 through Euro Auto spot

or

$3,253 through BMW Vista?

Needless to say, I'm going to be writing to BMW North America about this incident. A big F-U to BMW Vista and Bill Amodeo who was obviously just trying to hit his numbers.

Man, I miss Natasha and the previous service manager. At least they were honest.

What a scam! Euro auto spot is awesome though I've been there a few times and nothing but honest customer service and prices, I'd recommend to anyone in San Diego

Agreed. Euro Auto Spot has taken care of me with my 335i and has been amazing. I don't think I could even think about going to BMW for anything anymore.

Damn that sucks. Should've looked for Brian as ahero4eternity recommended, though I haven't gone myself yet. Lol.
