E90 335XI 2009 - want to lower the car with kw V1 but tell me how many centimeter ?

Hi everybody i bought a 2009 e90 335xi car one month ago.

i really want to lower it because car seems to be to high for me.

i read the first post and I think i Will choose kw v1, maybe it's not the best choice.

if you have chosen kw v1 coule you tell me how many centimeters you chose to lower your car ( rear / front ) ?

I think I will lower from 30 centimeters is it correct or too high ?

Tanks

Nicolas

It depends on how low you want it. Just remember that if you buy a new set of coils they tend to settle after they've been installed.

out of the box, kw v1s are 15mm lower than stock springs, so it would put it at the sport package ride height set at its highest level

Are you sure ? I read a post explaining

Standard suspension is higher than sport suspension for 15 mm

Xdrive suspension is higher than normAl suspension for 18 mm

It means thé différence between xdrive and sport suspension might be 33 mm...

Is it correct ?

hmm, that is possible. I have the sports package but the xi's did not get the suspension from that so im not sure. My wheel well gap is pretty small and the car is 100% stock suspension-wise. Heres a pic of the ride height.

OP here's some help: mine's a 08 e90

Pic 1/2/3: KW v1 with avant garde m310 19x8.5 square set up
- I'm slammed on the KWs, but can prob go another inch lower in the front and rear

Pic 4: Bilstein sports/eibach prokit combo with Avante garde m310 19x8.5 and 19x9.5

It has been a world of a difference in handling compared to stock and have a spring/shock combo on the car

How do you like the Bilstein/Eibach compared to the V1's? Are the V1's a lot harsher?
