strange wihning noise

Hi guys,
Today Ive noticed a strange noise coming from my car, sounds like its coming from the engine bay area kind of a whining noise which is only evident when coasting at slow speeds i havent noticed it when accelerating or when maintaining constant higher speeds but maybe because that is the engine noise drowns it out. ..Any ideas what this could be?

My car is a 330D Auto with 41K ...

Could this be a turbo??.. something else? obviously I will get it checked out by my guy Monday/Tuesday.

Didn't get the chance to call into my garage today to get this checked.

Fingers crossed it's nothing serious!

No loss of power, no smoke just that little "low" noise

I know there is no replies on this post.. but would like to know if anyone else with an e90 could listen in to their engine bay while driving at low revs (Radio off) - Pref automatics..

I got to my garage and the guy said it was nothing to worry about, he thinks its the sterring motor - Im not convinced, then again he knows his stuff.

Its a noise that I seem to have lotched onto! and can here it all the time now, its not that loud but feckin annoying/worrying..

Anyone else?!!?..

Yeah I get the same but at 80mph plus commonly known as the fuckin' wife!
