275 is really 285?

Was planning on running Bridgestone 275's on my 9.5 inch rear wheels on my E92. If I want to run PSS do I have to step it down to 265 because they run wide? If I get a 275 PSS Is it analogous to a 285 Brand-X?

They def do run wider than other tires, I remember having one conti DWS and a PSS in the rear (both 265/30/19) and the PSS was considerably bulkier. Hope this helps.

Re-11 275 30 19 is 10", PSS is 10.7", and a PSS 285 30 19 is 11.4". Found this info on the tire mfg website.

245/35/19
