Damage on REAR BUMPER. HELP !!
After cleaning my car today and wipping it down. To my surprise, I noticed this dent on my rear bumper. After analyzing it, feels like someone accidently ran the shopping cart into my car and took off. I washed & detailed the car last week and I did not see this.
Any advise how I could fix this? Do I need to visit a body shop? Any advise would be great.. Thanks in Advance

That isn't gonna polish out! I got one very similar to it on the left rear yesterday when a church van pulled out of the parking spot next to me and caught the bumper with a door hinge. Taking it to the body shop tomorrow, I'll let you know what they say after I fax the estimate to their insurance company. About the same depth as yours, but just in the bumper.

its not going to up your insurance because its not going to run enough to warrant using insurance...providing you have a $500 deductible that is...call a couple bumper repair places
that should be a $500 fix roughly as they will have to re-work the bumper, and then repaint it. I would just take it off and bring it in to them OFF the car so that they dont polish the rest of the car or get overspray all over! |

Agreed it's not going to be worth putting that through insurance. Though you shouldn't need a whole bumper, so expect to pay ~$500 if you want it back to perfection.

I took it to my body shop, they quoted me around $450.00. I fixed it up to myself..looks better..after a little water sanding and touch up. Will wait for now..
thanx for all the replies and suggestions...
