+1 i've had your vent guage for a while now and i love it. there are other guages (like the JB3 tuning guage) with more features but non looks as good and oem like as yours. i would love to get the new features though, what do we actually have to send back to you (i hope not the whole thing lol) and how long is the turn around time? and i assume when we send it back to you, you will also pain it matt black for us?

thanks

Hey Rix, that looks really nice. I am still using (and enjoy) your mech. gauge.

I watched your install video for this on your website. Am I right in thinking that if I wanted to upgrade, I could use the same tubing and wiring I already have, just connect them to the new gauge? If that's the case I wouldn't need the harness, just connect the two wires?

I'm sorry if I didn't watch your video carefully enough, but can it be set to only show positive boost rather than boost and negative pressure? I find the two directional swinging on the digital readout to be distracting. I'd just like it to know when I am on boost.

Lastly, is there any trade-in value for my old gauge and pod?

I need to figure it all out first... its actually a complex process on my end to re-flash, so I want to make sure turnaround is super fast, or possibly I will let people order an upgrade "kit", and refund the deposit once I get their old gauge back... not sure on that one though.

It wasn't as easy as I had originally hoped... I've got my machinist backlogged with a few test parts for the RHD version... I am trying to get the LHD version "retro-fitted" into the RHD vent with new mounting parts, face, etc... it will be much easier to manage and keep you from needing to wait ANOTHER 6 months while I develop an entirely new circuit board. Thanks again for your patience

Great stuff thanks for putting in the effort for the RHD guys. Do you think you will be able to do it in bar instead of psi? Will it be able to work on all E90's ie the diesels.

Sweet! Proper PROcede integration....looking forward to sending mine in for re-flash/upgrade.

-Is it possible to make the bar graph top out at 16psi vs. 18psi?

There is a "BAR" option on my order page.

I don't see why it wouldn't work on the deisels, but I am not sure where you would tap the boost line into? Might need some help from a shop...

I chose 18psi because there are 12 segments, therefore each segment is 1.5 psi... I can only calculate this in half steps on my current chipset because of the way we sequence the LED's. Before my tweaks, the code only supported 12psi or 24psi... 18psi was added for the vent gauge.

Quick question:
Once the bars around the gauge max out to 18psi does the digital display carry on measuring?

Yes, they run independent of each other. The display and the peak recall will function above the bargraph scale.

The gauge will read up to about 72.9 psi on the display if you decide to hook it up to a really big turbo

GREAT WORK, RIX!!!

would it be your future plan to have this beautiful boost gauge to work with the dataloging feature on Procede V3 II software so we can log actual boost numbers with a laptop??

Hey Rick, I bought one of your original gauges (with the dash pod) a year and a half ago with the wiring kit. Are the original wires reusable for the power and boost?

Basically what I'm asking is "Do I need the power kit AND the V3 kit or just the V3 kit? (if I already have the wires from the original VEI setup)"
