Buying a BMW Extended Warranty

I am considering purchasing a BMW Extended Warranty on a 335i and had some questions:
- What is a typical price for the warranty on a 2008 335i?
- Is the price negotiable?
- Can you buy the warranty through any BMW dealership?

Thanks in advance
John

BMW now offers extended warranty for non-cpo vehicles as well. These vehicles would be bought off from non bmw dealers. IF your car is at the dealer, you could get it cpo'd, and its price depends on the parts that need to be replaced.

warranty questions

ive been wondering this as well. i just purchased an 07 335i from a private dealer. i called up the bmw dealer where the veh was regularly svcd and the only thing that's been done on it for warranty is a brake light................ kinda worries me cuz the warranty expiring nov this yr.
the car's still uber low miles (27k for an 07). i jus kno ive seen lotta posts re the fuel pump ESP on 07/09..sooooo
how much can i expect to pay to get it CPOd?? im gunna go in sometime next wk to inquire, but i wanna go in w/ some idea of what i should be paying. and is there an alternative warranty package that bmw or a 3rd party company will provide that has the same coverage?? holla back

the more miles you have on your car the more exspensive the warrenty gets. i think they quoted me $2500-$2700 for my 08 e92 with 43k miles. so im guessing yours would be alot cheap then that. maybe around $1600-$2000

extended warranty

Tres,
Which dealer did you get your warranty from, for $1850?
I am looking to get the extended warranty for my car as well, but the local dealer quoted me 6yr/100k for $2600.

Garage List
2011 BMW 335is  [0.00]
Hi - new to the E92 board. I just paid $2k for my additional 2 year/50k miles maintenance here in Phoenix. While the major stuff is covered under 4 year/50k miles - my '08 now is good out to 5/2014.

Debating back and forth on this extended warranty issue. I know I'm going to want to do some mods here and there, but I would still like to keep a warranty just in case. My 4/50 runs out this coming spring, but I've only got 25k on the car, so I guess the sooner I buy, the better? Guess I should just go talk to the dealership and see what they can offer.
