JB4 factory turbo E85 dyno testing: 450whp

Just wanted to share some dynos and results. Numbers are great for the mods.

This is the BMS car, running a JB4, BMS E85 flash, BMS downpipes, DCI, and the $95 "Option2" inline fuel pump upgrade. It's a manual transmission, has the factory intercooler, and factory midcats & catback. Fuel mix was E50.

Pretty impressive curves

wait so that flash... is when you get a g5 board and some how use a cobb to reflash the ecu?? im confused..

Yes. Terry has developed a 'BMS Flash' that is loaded with a cobb unit. I don't really know all the details, but I think he adjusts fueling and timing with the flash and the g5 controls the boost.

Is this with custom tuning or publicly available maps?

The FP doesn't technically add power so is it there for safer e50/85 delivery? Or is there a limitation on the stock system that this helps overcome?

You can just buy a Cobb new or used (i got a used one) then email Terry for the Flash and tell him your DME code
