No power.. but no lights...

So I started to get no power to my car recently.. the revs barely move and between shifts it falls on it's face..

I am not getting any CE or malfunction lights though..

Thinking it may be something with my car.. i put it back to 100% stock and disconnected the battery and reset the ecu- still the same problem.

HPFP? Will BMW look at it even if it doesn't have a light on?

if its the pump you would have had a CEL.

Make sure all the harnesses are plugged all the way in and that the correct wires are in the correct position

i was 3000-4000 miles free of any issues. Car just suddenly stopped running well.. i did get a engine malfuction light about 500 miles ago.. and i had a stumble like this like 2000 miles ago, but i had lights.

Each time, i turned off the car and restarted and it was all better.

I'm thinking it is the HPFP...

HPFP malfuctions will always throw a code. At least thats what my SA just confirmed with me. Recheck all your steps make sure everything is 100%, if still messed up, schedule a service visit.

ok.. but maybe i wasn't clear.. the car had a few things done, but I took them off when i started getting problems. I reconnected the car back to stock and still having the same problem....

I think it's a HPFP- i'm pretty sure, even though it has no codes.. it's slower than a 1988 civic
