Dear E90Post Members,

** UPDATED DESIGN**

Synapse Engineering has released a BOV kit for the 335i.
The kit utilises the famous Synchronic Blow off Valve. The patented design eliminates the diaphragm with a multi-tier piston actuator that self-centers under pressure, significantly reducing or eliminating compressor surge and will not leak boost.

Synapse BOV Pipe kit for BMW 135i/335i/535i is a direct bolt-on kit
that replaces the factory diaphragm diverter valves with a single, fast-acting
piston-actuated Synchronic BOV.

Updated design elements:

Zero weld, CNC mandrel-bent, aerospace grade Aluminum tubing
Relocated BOV location closer to the throttle body for improved performance and better clearance
Material change to lightweight, aerospace grade Aluminum 6061 in annealed condition for much improved thermal conductivity
Reduction of Silicone coupler surface area for maximized charge velocity
Billet CNC machined air temp sensor adapter welded directly onto charge pipe
T-bolt clamps now included with the kit
Alternative finishes now available in polished Aluminum and powder coated black
Engineered mounting bracket reduces vibration for overall assembly

Common Applications:
• BMW 135i
• BMW 335i
• BMW 535i

Kit Contents Include:
• SB001A (N54 Specific)
• Intercooler pipe
• Boost connect hoses and fittings
• Choice of Polished Aluminum or Powder coated Black

here are some pictures that we took of the system.

Quality is amazing on the valve.
the pipe has bends that are cut and welds but the quality is pretty good.

Looks like a really simple install.

we finally put our BOV on and it sounds awesome.
I think some of the local members had a chance to hear and "feel" them in person and I think everyone was quite impressed.

During the install we did have 1 hiccup with the clamp/strap that goes on the throttle body side. It was too small and could not be tightened enough. Not a big issue as we sourced one right away and securely tightened it to the throttle body.

Will post some videos soon.
