DAB retro fit
I've a 325d M Sport (2007 August) fitted with the 'Professional Navigation' system.
Can the 'DAB' option be easily retro fitted? I live in a part of the UK subject to the 'digital' switch-over. What parts are needed? Is this cost effective? |

BMW Dab Retrofit
Hi, I have done a retrofit of not just the DAB radio, but also the Ipod kit (using a much simpler method to the BMW recommendation). I purchased a DAB module for £35, aerial for £30 and paid £52 to get it coded to my car. It was one of the easiest mods to do your car, and I will never go back to FM or AM ever again! I am in the process of putting some instructions together, but if you want some, I will get a move on in putting some together. Simon

Hi Mate, noticed you fitted a retrofit DAB radio. I have searched on the net and can`t find anything to assist in fitting dab to BMW 5 series 520D - 2007. I had it in my previous car, and really do miss it!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
