calling everyone with x pipes and remaps

Hi guys I've recently acquired my e92 m3 and would like some reviews from the guys that have x pipes and a remap if possible. What sort of bhp can you expect and what part of the rev range is improved? Coming from a 335d I'm use to low down pull which I'm struggling to get use to in the m3. I think the mid range could do with been a bit more lively. Don't get me wrong when you wind it up it is something else all together and I know you need to work na engines hard to extract full power but just feel its lacking here

Many thanks

Andy

You are never going to get the shove in the back a remapped Twin gives you but a remap on a M3 will be a lot smoother in how it delivers its torque. Plus you have the M factor to keep you happy

Thought a remap gives like 14bhp or something? Your best just saving your money and enjoying the M. If I had one I'd just stick an akra exhaust on and that would be it!

Its not all about "headline" figures though. A remap smooves out the power delivery across the range.

If you get the xpipe with primary cats removed and secondary cats replaced with high flow cats you will be looking around 430-435bhp. Stick an evolve remap on top to smooth out the power delivery and release some extra horses and you are looking at 450-455bhp.

This is the best mod i have done. I ated the way i had to get the cr over5k revs to feel quick. Now its alot more instant and much more responsive....

Thanks f16rce. That's the answer I was looking for. Are all of the parts plug and play or welded. Are you running stock rear sections? If you don't mind me asking and you can pm if you like. How much does this set up cost and will it pass mot
