Warranty question for soldiers
Anyone planning on being in europe past the 2 year european warranty? If so, has anyone asked about extended warranty for the car? I'm a lil skiddish about driving the car with no warranty whatsoever.

ABD,
I often thought about the warranty concern for mine too. I bought my 328i in November 2006, so it runs out Nov 2008, and I leave here January 2009, so I will ship my car in December, so I only will be running for about 3 weeks or so with no warranty until I get home, your situation may be different though, depending on when you DEROS. Call the stealership and check into it though, might be worth it. |

Thanks man, yeah I called Wurzburg and they told me it was around 200 euros to add an additional year. Something doesnt sound right about that, because that seems way low, especially coming from a BMW stealership. I'll get more info on it. If I stay here and go to Iraq next June, then I'll need to add atleast one more year to feel safe.
