Matt has the 335's down to a tee, and others like me are benefiting from his experience growing. The mid-atlantic community is definitley starting to really help each other out with the whole range of mods. I feel like it's Christmas morning each time I get to go to Adam's garage.

I feel for the people not using a lift. We had some major long extensions and swivels working yesterday in order to hit things from the right angles. It would be very frustrating to me to attempt them on ramps or jack stands.

On the advice of Scalbert and Former_Boosted_IS I bought a cheap O2 socket set off amazon and it was very valuable for the DP install.

Worked great for less than $20: http://www.amazon.com/OEM-27110-Oxyg...4746103&sr=8-1
yup everything went well yesterday, I was pleased. You were even more pleased after you started hitting boost!

O2 wrenches were sweet. I wish there was more slack in the O2 lines, especially the front ones next to the turbo's. No reason for them to be that tight.

PS - I'm still amazed at how freaking SMALL the N54's turbo's are. Everytime I see them i'm that they perform the way they do.

patience is key, but on Scott's car is slipped right into place once it was line up correctly. It helps that this was not my 1st time either.QUOTE]

that's what she says

lol, sorry had to do it..

anyhow, great review and congrad to Scott. i'm sure the car is a complete beast now (r u gonna line it up against Matt's beast sometime? )

i can't wait to schedule a time with Matt and Adam to get my helix in too.. just been a crazy week. Matt i'll def. hit u up soon or unless Adam has a install party coming up again?

hopefully mine will be an easy install just like Scott's without trimmings.. fingers crossed.

So it seems the Helix is sliding in easier on the e92's then on the e90s?

how about the RPI intercooler compare to the helix one on performance?
which intercooler do you prefer if i am looking for one that can be easily reversable back to stock.

not too much cutting, hopefully a direct bolt on.

It may be a couple of pages back. If you want in, just post a reply that says, Please add me to the Group Buy list. As soon as Helix sees it they will post the complete list again with your name added. I think when they called for deposits it was only $70.

I think there are about 50 people already on the list for the next batch, so get your name on there soon, before they start the next production run.

it was partially my fault, i got to the shop kind of late. i'm new to working on cars but still decided to do it myself and want to learn instead of paying someone else to. by the time i got to the turbos, I figured I wouldn't have enough time to take the DPs off put on the new ones and everything else. i'll try again next week a lot earlier too.

i wouldn't try this on ramps, it takes long enough with the freedom a lift gives you.

I just did one on an E92 and it required more trimming than expected. Pretty much everything done here :http://www.billswebspace.com/335HelixIntercoolerDIY.htm was needed. Nice piece, better fitment would have been nicer.

No codes. When you look at the model number of the cats (they are magnaflow hi-flo) it shows they are EPA ODBII Compliant. I imagine they should not ever give me a problem.

If I remember correctly the are in the 59950 family, specifically the model number 59959 on this page: http://www.car-sound.com/02product/u...al/599spun.asp

On the FMIC fitment, I am 4/2007 build date.
