Driver side front riding 1/2" higher than passenger
I recently put on some aftermarket 19" wheels, just noticed the gap on the drivers side front is 1/2 " larger than the passenger side. I have an E92 coupe sport pkg with 27,000 miles. I didnt touch the suspension , all i have is the rims with a 15mm spacer up front. Any ideas why this is happening?
I am aware that stock the drivers side is raised a bit due to compensate for drivers weight, but maybe with stock wheels you dont notice as much. Well either way my steering wheel is a bit crooked since putting the wheels on, maybe just an alignment issue? Last edited by Delmoney335; 01-29-2011 at 04:52 PM.. |

Only thing I can think of is a dead upper shock mount or maybe the suspension hasn't settled yet. Stab the brake a few times and maybe it will settle. You can also see if the shock mount went bad by opening the hood looking in at both. You'll be able to tell if it's damaged.
