hmmm well i received the sunglass holder today from circle bmw, so we will see what entails the light mod. im sure its very easy....yea LUX 4.0 is going in next weekend.

Dude i can do it for you next weekend when you are here, i did it with my car, its not that hard.
You have a 6 speed too, same with me. I'll just take care of it when you come for the LUX install |

we did the install today and everything went smooth i almost cut the wrong wire when i was installing the LED's into the sunglass tray, but no worries, i got it. I'm sure he will post pics later today or tomorrow when he gets home.
We also did the LUX 4.0 install |

yea it looks great! i love the LUX. right now my baby is at BMW getting serviced. ALOT! there is a long list of stuff: brake flush, steering wheel lock icon, replace cup holders, replace both a pillars, replace drivers b pillar, replace inner drivers door panel, and something else that the guy said is due. they have a neat key reader that tells them the services due. kinda cool....anyone have one for sale?? heehe

I don't understand why wires needed to be cut on this mod. To get my sunglass holder illuminated, all I did was keep the cig lighter behind the console and glued the 2 led lights to inside of the sunglass tray. Works perfectly...plus I get to keep the access plug in case I want to hardwire a PS3 or V1

We used a Titanium drill to drill through the break pedal, it only took 20-30 seconds to go through each hole.
