i still think it's really up to personal preference and interpretation. it'll look just as good flush as it will be sitting slightly in.
i have mine slightly in at the middle and flush at the edges |

Not saying one way is better or worse than any other way. I just wanted to know how it is "suppose" to go, as are others I'm sure. I told my body shop to try it out both ways and put it on the way they think is correct. It will be like a little surprise when I pick up my car.
