CPO question

So I am looking at purchasing an 07 335i. I found two that I like...both CPO cars. One dealer tells me that the CPO warranty covers everything and no deductible and the other dealer tells me there is a $50.00 charge and it only covers major stuff on the car???

Anyone with CPO like to help me out here?

As far as I know, it does not cover everything. I believe it only covers major things so the second dealer is probably correct. The first one may just be trying to sell you the car. The best thing to do is read over the warranty to see what it covers.

agree

Unless they've changed things since we got our 05 X5, CPO is similar to the regular new car warranty in that it covers most things, but not things like trim, leather, wheels/tires, glass, etc. So you can be comfortable that any engine/drivetrain stuff is covered, but read the fine print. For example, the NAV units are not covered, and they are one of the faultiest parts on these cars (at least the earlier versions anyway). Ours has been replaced 3 times, luckily the dealer is cool and has not charged us. Oh, and it usually is $50 per service visit.

After the new car warranty expires and the CPO warranty takes over, they start charging you the $50 handling fee per visit.

Here is a list of what's covered from BMW's website:

Engine
Automatic/Manual Transmission
Front Suspension
Rear Suspension
Steering
Brakes
ABS Brake System
Electrical
Air Conditioning/Heating System
Cooling System
Interior/Exterior
Fuel System
Final Drive Assembly, Propeller Shaft
