Question thinking of going with a G37 vert...

so i moved out west, and have the urge to get a convertible (yes i still have my manhood). my 335i coupe (its a 6 speed which proves i am/was a man) is up in April and I have started to do research on my next car. for the money, its hard to pass up the G37 coupe. does anyone have any feedback on this car, reasons why i should reconsider or reasons why a G37 is a no brainer? i still have some time, and i don't want to pay $60k+ for a Z4 or a 335i vert.

thanks!

so my mom was in the market for a new car, and it came down to the 335i and g37 vert. basically in the end out the door she got a hell of a deal on the g37, and it was a g37s. the bmw was out, now it was time to decide if she wanted to own a g37s coupe or a solora....do you catch my drift?

If you do get the G37, go with a Top Secret Front Lip

Take it for a test drive, and see if it lives up to your expectations.

i did, it was not a BMW, but it wasn't bad for a ricer. i had a G35 coupe prior to my 335Ci. i actually like the new iDrive way better then G37 Navi...I was reading online that all the 2010 models are getting new Navis in the Infiniti lineup.

Unfortunate how ricer has become synonymous with Japanese cars.

same features as a G37 vert with just Premium Pkg, the 335i equipped is a little over 60k MSRP. go build one. plus i can get the G37 vert for invoice (family) its hard to compare the two as they are so far apart in price.

I only know two people with e92 335i's, both manual, both driven by chicks!

good luck with the search - drive the G37 and decided - I am sure its a nice ride. Check out the trunk though - its tiny.

I guess I should have posted my question in a G37 forum, this seems to be a ball busting session for everyone on this board.

Thats what people say BEFORE they move to florida. The top will be up most of the time as you will probably have had too much sun even before you add in your time behind the wheel. No to mention, NEVER leave the top down while parked or you wont be able to sit in your car for an hour.

IMHO, the G37 vert is pretty fugly. I see a lot of old people driving them around here. Why don't you go slightly used?

The E93's seats have a reflective property for the leather that actually works. You don't have the hot butt problem.
