Cobb Accessport V3

Hi guys, I am new to the forum and just bought the cobb tuning accessport v3, which I now understand was just shipped end Aug. Should be arriving soon next week, so quite eager to start using it soon!

Just wanted to ask if anybody has used the accessport v2 in Hong Kong and have you experienced any error code or issues?

FR on Cobb Tuning. I have to say I am impressed with the Cobb maps. Initial impression is that the car now handles much more smoothly compared to the stock map. Stock map was terrible. I lost power sometimes at higher revs and at the low revs, not enough power then suddenly feel a kick from the turbo. Turbo lag was short but pronounced. When you hit the accelerator, there is a rush and then turbo suddenly runs out of air after a while.

After installing the Stg 1 map, the low end lag is shorter and there is more power through the rpms. Always ready for more. Gear changes seem smoother as well. Love the map. However, it seems to suck more fuel. Need more time to confirm if the fuel efficiency has dropped.

Maybe you should Disable the traction control when you were on stock.

Same... Nothing to do with the Traction Control. Besides, you don't want to leave the Traction Control off all the time for safety reasons.

The Accessport is great so far for me. Smooth transmissions and power at all gears. I am itching to try the other maps now... Need to install FMIC and downpipes...

In stock form, the turbo's are seamlessly integrated by the DME to operate without the drivers knowledge. Maximum boost is 8psi. The N54 engine basically feels like a small displacement V8, with gobs of low end torque and smooth, linear power to redline. You shouldn't be feeling any surges of power. My guess is that it's all in your head, if not, there is something seriously wrong with your car.

Also, those of you that don't already own a Cobb should look into getting an Open Flash Tablet instead. It cost's half as much, and after having driven Stage 1 maps for both, there is a night and day difference in drivability, refinement, and power.
