-I'm getting a strange momentary rattle when I lift off the gas around 3k and sometimes again around 1200 rpm. I've listened to the wastegate rattle videos and this doesn't sound like it. I'm wondering if it's the throttle closing or maybe a loose heat shield?? Anyone else have a similar sound/gripe?

UPDATE 9/11: Sound has been all but eliminated...thanks to Vishnu's new beta map. As suspected, the noise was due to the altered wastegate duty cycles of 29.2.

i'm experiencing the same rattle around 3100-3200 not exactly sure what it is either....

Can't really hear it with the windows up....and it started with 29.2 update.

I get that too (even without the stock exhaust, so I have no flap)
It's something with the wastegate or another valve in the exhaust.
Sounds like a loud click or slap.

i get a click at 1,000 rpm in 2nd gear, going up or down in rpms. i always thought it was the exaust flap.

Yep, that's exactly it! I was hoping the V3 lag fix map might lessen it...no luck.

It's the wastegate shutting. It's more noticeable with aftermarket downpipes. Some cars do it louder than others. Even with the progman update which is mainly there to stop the rattling some cars got at idle.
