Guess the dash symbol
Okey, this symbol has appeared on the dash and on start-up car says it wants a service:
Any idea what it is for? Can't see it in that list of codes thread...... |

Are you sure your it doesn't show either the front or rear end of a car?
If with front end,it's MOT time If rear end Exhaust emission test |

It does look like the MOT symbol to me. Not sure why it came on a new car sub 3 years old though. Do you have iDrive? If so what writing comes with the symbol?
You can probably just follow the reset procedure, but best to be sure..

Okey it is the MOT indicator..... on a 16 month old car. Does this mean I can just reset it? It seems I have the option via the trip computer of setting the month and year on it.
The headunit just got changed out under warranty..... wonder if the two are related. |

Statutory Service - SS
Indeed and MOT in our country. Just get a BT tool on there and adjust the date. Likely it was started counting down when the car left the production line, not when it was sold. Same thing will happen with your brake fluid service I suspect, for the same reason
