So I'd assume you wouldn't recommend the Cool Carbon from your experience?

I have Akebono euros on the front (still running OEM on the rear until they need replacing again). Akebonos don't dust AT ALL! I'm amazed as to how clean my front wheels stay while my rears look like crap with the stock pads. I'll admit I was disappointed with the Akebonos lack of bite after the initial install, but the bite gets marginally better after break in. The feel is still nothing like the stock pads, but the stopping power is more than adequate for daily driver needs.

100% agreed.
But my initial has gotten quite better.
Still not like oem, but very happy with the results.

Still looking like hawk HPS is the most similar to OEM bite while reducing dust

I'm just worried about all the reviews that mention squeaking or screeching... I don't want noisy brakes

I got my full front and rears pads for 146. Akebonos.

Placeforbrakes.com
So let's say you dont like them.
Worst case you are out 146 + any Indy shop to re and re them.

I will be trying hawks next.
But with either pads, put CRC quite brake on them.
