BMW now offers an hifi up-grade to the business class stereo in the 335
it comes with new front mids. and tweeters and a alpine hifi amp.
it's all plug and play system for $560.00
it has to be shipped from germany
if you have the Nav. setup the part# should be 65 41 2 163 268

You have the basic system, you don't have an amp in your car, hence why you can fit the Alpine retrofit kit.
