Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend a good touchless carwash in or around Stamford, CT (I'm willing to travel a little farther if need be)? Looking for a good way to remove all of this salt/sand from my car without damaging the paint.

I also need a recommendation for a good wheel repair shop in roughly the same area. The previous owned curbed the hell out of my 162's so I'm hoping to get a quote for repairing them.

Birdies in Rye offers a steam wash for around $30 I think... never used them, but planning on it when I get my first winter wash.

it is not great but its touchless. try it out

I've used it a few times. In the winter, you should probably call, they often have it closed due to cold weather. Once when they were opened during the winter, the liquids were frozen so all I got was a nice water rinse.

Splash in Darien, 251 Post Rd, Darien, CT, has four self wash car bays which starts at $4 for four tokens which last 4 minutes. The best part about this is that it's extremely high pressure water, soap, wax. There's also like a long broom/brush thing which is good for scrubbing the undercarriage of your car.

Wheel repair, I'd recommend Proformance Industries at 55 Plain Ave, New Rochelle, NY. It's 20-25 minutes from Stamford.

Sorry, my mistake. Looks like I googled the wrong one. It's definitely at the corner of Heights Rd. and Noroton Ave. in Darien, CT. I double checked using Google Maps satellite.

Finally made it to this place last weekend. Although I sat in line for literally one hour, the wash was excellent for a touchless and I will definitely return.
