Saved £25k
On AUC website, Spotted a mega spec e92 335d SE at local dealer, due in a week. Had the chat, asked for a test drive as soon as it landed. Saleman just called me back, some bugger just put a deposit on it. If its you, thank you very much for saving me some cash!
Enjoy the car... |

You have to move quickly that in todays internet world I'm afraid.
I've been in talks over a massively specced X3 which is 'coming soon'. Can't quite get the figures to stack up but I suppose why would a dealer try all that hard then he could sell the car many times over at a better profit than he'd get from me. Occassionally the timing works in your favour though. Fate.

talking about massive spec.....went to BMW Park Lane to pick up a part for the E90 and popped into the Mini showroom next door. Saw a gorgeous Cooper S works.....standard OTR price was £15,999 (If I remember correctly) but this one was so specced up that it came to a whopping £50k!!!!!

Must have ticked the 'gold bar in glove box' option

I wonder if, having paid for my car outright...
I could sell it to a dealer, buy a car from them on an attractive finance option, and effectively work it so that I made money... Essentially getting cash for my car, then placing enough money back as a deposit to effectively loan myself my own money, at a more favourable rate than I would currently pay in depreciation... Or something, like for example get myself a nice new car with the newer Idrive etc... Does that make any sense? Where is a clever maths person? Matt |
