I have grill scoops and an Injen intake. I can not feel a real difference below 60mph, but on the interstate and at high speed you can feel the difference in acceleration. Before the scoops the needle moved a lot when pushing it to the 2nd half of the speedo. If i had to guess, it is maybe around 10% faster from 60-100. I have never timed anything though. When paired with the Injen intake I think it works better than with the stock air box alone, it seems very very restrictive compared to the open cone. I remember a few other people said the scoops combined with an intake work better than without.
The theory that the higher the speeds the more "cooler" ambient air enters the engine seems sound. You can see it by putting a piece of tape or paper behind the scoop and blowing a fan or leaf blower toward the car.

I would think the scoops would help for an aftermarket intake, or for the guys who are running a stock box, but with a K&N filter and the charcoal filter deleted. That would make sense to me
Im open to buying a used pair if anyone has some |

they're only $39 shipped brand new from Cyba...how much cheaper do you want to buy it for that you're waiting on a used pair?
