How to Clean E90 Vacuum Pump

Does anyone know how to remove, take out, clean properly, and refit the vacuum pump shown here? It is looking like debris, oil and gunk has been cased inside the vacuum pump, probably over some time so needs a good clean. So, does anyone have any Youtube vids on this fix?

With this, does this have any adverse effect on the car?
