Not a complaint

We frequently read complaints about dealers and SAs. Well here's one from the other side.

Took my car into Tischer for its oil change/etc. service and complaint about losing air in a tire. Well the tire had an unrepairable nail. Since I bought the car used (from a Honda dealer) I bought the tire insurance from the Honda dealer. In order to see if I was covered, had to call insurance company, etc. And of course, I didn't have the paperwork with me. The SA (Kristina) got my permission to look for the paper work, called the insurance company, filed the claim for me, took care of everything.

That is going above and beyond for the customer.

I'll add my $.02. I've been using Tischer exclusively for service after an unsatisfactory visit to my selling dealer. I think Tischer is tops. Joe Diss is my SA and he is great. He keeps me informed about what's going on, is always cheerful, and has gone the extra mile to satisfy me. Highly recommended.

I was thinking about using tischer for any warranty work or scheduled service. Are they cool with mods?

Can't say but a lot of the restrictions come from BMW, not the local dealer. From what people are saying, BMW clearly has been getting more restrictive.
