Smile What's new at Vishnu/FFTEC

Hi guys,
It's been pretty crazy last couple of weeks. The flexfuel and single turbo product development has been keeping us very busy. At times, the shop is literally filled with n54 powered vehicles, each getting a different upgrades. But pictures are worth a thousand words:

Typical day at the shop. 135/335s wall to wall.

My personal car/development mule is finally getting a cage. It should allow us to break into the 9s before having to add more points and safety features. Now we just have to make the power Jesse is a master when it comes to cage building. The door bars will be removable so as to not interfere with daily driving. While it will add about 80lbs to the weight of the car, I'm looking forward to the increased chassis rigidity which will make the car handle even better than it does now.

Here is a customer's 335xi getting a Flexfuel kit installed. His car was completely stock when it arrived. Upon leaving, he was making an extra 150+whp thanks to the Procede, Procedeflash and DCIs.

Here's another out-of-state car that was just delivered for full single turbo conversion. Dave is already on the job. I'm loving the white on tan combo.

And another (also white) single turbo conversion completed and ready for the dyno:

And another Flexfuel conversion.

And a PWM Meth kit install on a 6MT 135:

And some pre-sold single turbo conversion kits that are scheduled for installation over the next couple of weeks.

And of course, my rescued 5yr old (but new to me) German Shepard loving her role as the shop's dyno mascot:

By the end of October, there should be over 25 single turbo n54s on the road. Which means that we are well into developing the next "higher" stage. And things are looking promising. Thanks to every for their support and encouragement. We hope to end 2012 with a bang. Hopefully not a literal BANG. But a figurative one

Shiv

I'm sure you will soon. I usually bring her to the shop in my 335. But since it's currently down for the cage install, she has been staying in the Danville office where he desperately tries to coax Robert and Garret into playing fetch every 3 minutes.

It's being built, in house, from scratch. No price per se. We don't expect to sell cages. They are basically built to fit. No jigs/fixtures.

Nice to see a CO plate representing...that's an intense drive. Did the owner move to CA, or did they drive down for some Flexfuel lovin'?

He recently moved to CA so that certainly saved him a long drive

That's too bad. At at least he chose the second sweetest state in America

Finally getting the cage. I thought you were going to wait until the car could do backflips.

I see you say you are going higher hp. Once this is developed/tested, will it be easy for current single turbo owners to switch their setup over to the higher hp one?

90's model T-birds can be some seriously sleeper cars. A guy I know at the local Ford dealership has a full weight(+cage) T-bird running 9.9x in the quarter with only 530-540whp.
