You got it Actually I think it was just for 50% off the kit and installation but you have to have it done at their shop, so you need to head to California to do it anyway. I could be wrong, but sounded like kind of a pain and not exactly "free".

Friggin' awesome purchase, Sid! Glad BMW is taking care of you. Can't wait to see the car when it gets in!

As for the Gintani SC, even if it's half off and installed in CA, how many of you guys would honestly say you wouldn't drive there for the install anyway? Hell, the drive back through the Rockies would make the whole trip worth it!

Need your help! I thought that Jerez was discontinued but it is still showing as an option on BMW USA. This has me second guessing my choice of MR. What do you guys think? I have always wanted to get a red vehicle but I always chicken out at the last minute. I was very set on MR because the only other color I would consider for my M3 is Jerez and I thought that was discontinued but it looks like it might not be so now im not so sure anymore. So what would you guys go for, MR & Bamboo or JB and Bamboo or Fox?

always pick the color you originally wanted or else you will be kicking yourself in the ass for not picking it in the first place. I'm wishing I would have pick the first color of AW instead of SG. IMO, red looks soooooooooo sexy on an "M"

Thats what my old lady just told me too. Thanks guys. I think I am just going to stick with the red (even though it still makes me a little nervous).

jerez + fox + carbon leather = sex!!

J/K man, the melbourne red on the M3 you are getting is really an awesome color, my favorite red for any car I have seen (including Ferrari's). The carbon leather trim is also my favorite trim on any BMW. I honestly think you will be happy with your original choice. De-chrome the exterior and it will look fooking mean.

Oh and plus, exterior maintenance on the red will be MUCH easier. You know from your 335i how much a pain in the ass black is to take care of.

Stick with the Melbourne, man. Black Bimmers are everywhere. There are three black E90s parked in the same parking structure where I work, and one of them is an M3. I don't think I've ever seen a Melbourne Red on the streets yet. The Melbourne is a gorgeous shade of red, and probably my favorite color for the M3 next to the Interlagos Blue.

Sid, you getting sunroof, or sticking with the CF roof? Personally I think the black CF roof with the red will look sweet, but sucks that you don't get a sunroof.

Yep, getting the sun roof. I like the CF roof too however, I love my sunroof. I cant bring myself to pay this much for a car and not get a sunroof.

I'd get the carbon roofonly because I hardly use my sunroof. If I was in of for the sunroof, I might as well have bought the convertible.

Lets just agree to disagree. If you want style points then get the CF roof, if you want comfort points then go with the sunroof
