I am just about to hit 100K...no MAJOR issues but it looks like I will need brakes and possible springs..the car is starting to click when I put it in reverse.. All told, don't regret the purchase..we are keeping this until AT LEAST 2021

What is in these cars that make them trouble free and long running I've seen last year F30 LCI cars with more issues! This Ruby Black Metallic color is nice! Although xDrive with these rims don't work. This set up really needs a drop ASAP!

There was a 6MT Ruby Black on Oyster one for sale on Kijiji ecently in Toronto. A bit high asking price and he didn't even have the 313s anymore, not sure if it sold or got traded in. If it was RWD I would've been tempted...

Wow, not much activity on this thread lately, but good to see some of the other owners still having good experiences. I bought mine at lease end and it's still running great. A lot lower mileage than you folks though only about 60K. Had a water pump done under extended warranty just recently so it makes me think age rather than mileage could be the culprit there.
Other than that no problems at all apart from bent wheels on our awful roads. Have some VMRs on it now and they seem to be holding up well. Looking forward to getting it all clayed and waxed for summer. Have a good one all! Attached some pics. The last one was taken by a real photographer LOL. |

That is a nice sedan! I didn't realize the water pumps could go out so soon with 60k miles or less on the N55s! It is sad how maintenance times have changed since the 1990s. My 1995 318i had the water pump done at 12 years and 160,000 miles My 2001 330i had the water pump upgraded at 10 years and 80,000 miles both cars still had functioning original factory water pumps and the work was only done because the DIY was simple, parts were cheap and it was preventative maintenance. Now my 2011 335i with 50,000 miles can need a new water pump after 6 years on the road. BMW must be kidding us with this. #sad

I still own my 2011 345i Xdrive SE, with 68,500km on it. No major problem so far. I don’t drive it that much because I work from home. I notice since last winter that I have to warm the car in cold weather for a few minutes before driving it; otherwise it’ll sound like it has difficulty shifting from 1st gear to the 2nd gear; and making a noise when it shift from gear 1to 2. It goes away when the car warms up. Does anyone of you have the same problem?

I was going to post them in a for sale thread. I'm sure there are people out there who need singles to replace broken ones, and they are ridiculous expensive to buy from BMW. |

https://www.mpi.mb.ca/en/Reg-and-Ins...blePlates.aspx I have the Jets plates because I am a fan, but even if you don't care about the team or organization, they all have different color schemes so you can find one to match your car if that is your thing. I like those wheels on Bobby's car. That looks like one of the Jerez Blue SEs. I actually would have preferred that to the Ruby Black, but I did not have a selection. |

Barely drove mine the past winter. Since lowering it, it couldnt make it over the underground garage entrance at my work place without grinding the undercarriage, so it's been mostly garage queen til now! 313 wheels are out and all repaired (1 needed straightening, and 1 was cracked), got a new set of tires (Firestone Indy 500), so ready for the season! Next minor mod would be CF rear lips spoiler. Anyone has that installed?

Hello everyone,
A friend of mine is selling his special edition ruby black. The car is fairly new with 20,000 km only. It had one claim. Accident fixed for around $10,000. I'm thinking of getting the car. Wha do you think a fair price would be for the car? I appreciate all your help! Thanks |

Not sure why I stumbled back to this page. Just thought I'd share and update. 140k and still going strong. Tempted to sell before things go bad, but glad to hear some high mileagers out there.

Thought I'd say hi. Bought one of these @ 165,000k's last week. Runs great, just working on updating the maps. The guy said it had been sitting for a couple of weeks.
The same day I re-filled gas the CEL has come on. It's not red, and I can't feel anything too different with the car except it being a little more tame at lower RPMs - is this likely an old/bad gas mix issue? Any help would be appreciated. Have an OBDII scanner coming in tomorrow to check out the exact code. Have already hit up the dealership as it's been less than a week since I got it off them. |
