Alpine White Twins

Well... almost Twins! (Phone pictures at the dealer.)

My brother just bought the M-Sport but is out of state.

Just picked it up this evening. It'll be garaged at my place for a few weeks while he's gone It's up to me to 'test' drive it and make sure there are no issues. Poor me!

I have driven it already and for ANYONE who wants to know... yes, they drive exactly the same.

2010 335i Sport - (Nav, Sports, Premium, Comfort Access, Beige leather)

2010 335i M-Sport - (Nav, M-Sports, Premium, Backup Sensors, Saddle Brown leather)

Both have Nav. M-Sport has Saddle Brown interior and backup sensors.
Sport has Comfort Access and Beige Leather.

DAT ASS!

Thanks all!

Tint is 30% all around (Legal here in FL.)
My previous car was 35% all around.

I personally wouldn't go darker than 30%.

Man thanks for posting this! I have been looking for a M-sport vs Sport comparison for a while (mainly for the front bumper) to see it side by side.

Here it is!

One question, the dark diffuser on the M-sport, is that standard on the M-sport and on the Sport it is just painted? It also looks like the M-sport rear bumper is a little bit bigger (lower to the ground, slightly) is this the case or is just the diffuser different? I know M-sport has different front bumper, which is obvious, and side skirts. Just not sure what the difference is on the rear bumper.

I'm planning to buy a black M-sport LCI this weekend so since it is black I probably won't be able to tell..ha

You're welcome and thanks!

The M-Sport has the diffuser. It's black on all M-Sport equipped cars no matter the color. Sports does not have a diffuser it's all one peice painted bumper.

I honestly can't see any height difference between both bumpers. I haven't actually measured but both are sports packages so essentially they should have the same ride height. I am pretty sure it just looks lower because of the bumper design and the diffuser. (To see what I mean look at the exhaust pipes and where the bumper sits at in relation to them on both cars. The M-Sport is primarily cosmetic, save for the steering wheel, so it wouldn't change the height of the exhaust)

If you put a non-sport or xDrive side-by-side with a sport or M-sport you'd see a clear ride height difference.

If you're buying a black M-Sport you'll see a little color difference because the diffuser is a more matte black peice. It's not shiny at all.

For some reason if you look at the rear bumper right behind the wheel, the m-sport does look a little bigger then the regular sport. But overall there shouldn't be any major difference.

Thanks again all!

Just got the OK to Plasti Dip the kidneys on the M-Sport black as the other ones came out so nice.

The chrome just looks out of place with the shadow line trim.

Going to put a gloss coat of Plasti Dip on once I get some in. Home Depot sells the black spray for only $6 bucks but not the gloss. Go figure! Gotta get it online.
