does anyone have any experience with this hood?

had my car hit at a parking lot this weekend, nothing big but i got some deep scratches on my hood so im looking to replace it..i would like either an m3 rep hood or a vented hood but dont want to break the bank. will likely be getting it painted back, with that said wha would you go for the m3 style hood or the vented hood? and does anyone have any experience with either of these products?

You're looking in all the right spot. You're not going to find a reputable hood for under $600 shipped from any reputable vendors/sites. Carbon fiber or FRP. Your best bet would be on Black Friday. If you don't want to wait until November, eBay and the other sites you;ve listed would be your best bet. FWIW, if they offer a warranty go for it. Just remember, you're going to have to adjust any hood a few times to get the right fitment.

Personally I'd just get a normal hood. Unless you've done mods to get the performance to go with the looks, it's just bark and no bite. My 2 cents.

I know someone who has the eBay hood it actually fits better then the same one I got from mod-bar-gains.
Modb sells one by carbon8/NRG, the eBay one is a no name but fits better.
The 3rd link you posted is for an Actual m3 so it is an inch too long for your car.

do you by chance have pics of this car? also in your opinion which is better, m3 or vented on a black e92 will probably paint it black, would you say its worth a shot spending the $550 vs the $750 to give it a shot?

I got my OEM-style CF Seibon hood from NRGMotors on eBay, free shipping too! If you live out of state, you save on taxes too.

For that price range your gonna be looking at a FRP model.
I personally really like the painted vrs style hood.

JGmods has one:

I'm looking into getting one of those hoods for my E90, is there any difference in size, or shape btwn the 07-09 e90 and e92 hoods? Most vendors are listing the hood for '08 - and up e92's.
