M-Sport Steering Wheel - Matt Finish

Hi All,

After 18 months I have noticed that the matt finish on the M-Sport Steering Wheel is starting to peel off.

Is this a known issue??

Seeing that it's only 18 months old I will hit them up for a replacement but concerned in the long run if it's a re-occurring issue.

Fritzables.

Mine has the same thing in the same spots on both sides of the wheel, with only 17k miles. I have no rings on my fingers nor do I race. It's garbage.

Had a chat to the dealer today.

The first thing I asked was if it was a common ailment with the M-Sport wheel and as it turns out - Yes it is.

But he was saying that there has been a batch change to hopefully sort the issue out. The new one is ordered on warranty and will be fitted next week.

Damn that sucks! I try to keep my stock parts after I mod 'em -- hope you can go back to your stock part until you get it replaced.

WHAT ?!?!?! You're kidding me !!!

I get my steering wheel changed out tomorrow so I will put the dealer on the spot and ask why I am hearing all this negative feedback.

Have you asked the question 06E90Rostik??
