Which BMWlogger to use?

Which BMWlogger should I be using?

My car is a 2007 335i Sedan
Built date: Sept 2006
I think FRM1

All I want to do is:
Register a battery that was never registered.
Clear historical DMEs.

BMWlogger or bmwlogger2?

INPA is really good with diagnostics, but the install is a pain and its mostly in german. if you just want to read/clear codes + battery the bmwlogger is fine.
