They don't have a meth specific map but people have been able to run the race map with meth. May be -1 degree of timing...

Now if you were completely stock, and want meth I would start with the stage 1+ maps and see how I much I can squeeze with ATR.

COBB has really nice gains for OTS, if you want to go a bit further you can do a Pro-Tune! FTW!!

With just DCI, FMIC, E50 and a Pro E-Tune I am getting +125 more ponies to the wheels.

check out my thread, With COBB + ProTune you can get some really great gains for very little cost.

On another note, what's up with e90post today. It's not only slow but tends to upload your post twice. I've deleted 3 times now duplicate posts.

It appears their servers are.slow, and if you hit the submit button more than once it will post them both.

Very interested in your dyno results. What dyno you using?

I will be finalizing the tuning hopefully this week (99% done).

I'll dyno at my local COBB shop. They have an AWD mustang dyno. We'll run it in 2wd mode... I know it reads low.

I had a stock vs stage 1 on it may be two years ago. But they've upgraded a couple of things and I will have to dyno in stage0 again. They told me it now reads lower .... but who cares, it's the deltas

btw I'm using meth for cooling and peace of mind at this point. We could have went slightly more aggressive but I'm happy with the way the car is... I'll go more aggressive with bigger turbos

Deltas FTW. Nothing reads lower than a Dyno Dynamics. My baseline was 230whp. I was very disappointed but once I got my delta, I was a happy camper. I also did it on a DynoJET, for shits and giggles, check out my thread, it an interesting read between the two Dynos.

http://www.intercepteft.com/calc.html

Remember, USA octane is RON+MON/2 = USA Octane, thus E85 is more like 96 USA Octane and of course 91 or 93 is 91 or 93 USA Octane.

Make sure you log some good 3rd gear pulls and see how your car responds to the E30 MAPs.
Car feels great. No point in spending 9.39 a gallon for 100 octane when I can use 93 @ 3.89 and E85 @ 3.29 locally. The E85 says "85% ethanol" but the approval sticker (which would normally be octane rating for regular gas) said that it is only guaranteed to have a minimum of 70%. I mixed it (assuming the 93 octane was 10%) so that I am somewhere between E30 and E35.5 at both extremes so I think it will be fine. I am trying to reach my dyno guy so I can get it tested plus I may hit the strip this weekend to see what kinds of speeds I can hit in the 1/4.

Yeah I have used the same dynojet for all of mine. Stock was 291/304 and my last dyno with FBO running stage2+ aggressive was 387/423. My new wheels are 10 lbs lighter and I am running E30 so I am curious to see how it turns out. I dream of hitting 450 rwhp and 120 in the 1/4 ha

Hey @VNeBLOB42, I didn't forget about you. I talked to Rob and the software guys and they are working on the logging issue. We've had a lot on our plates lately, but we'll let you know as soon as there's an update for you.

Clean log all in all. You have some throttle closure in 3rd gear due to overshooting your boost target. you can tune it out in ATR easily

In reading the Protuning Blog on reading the logs, he said that AFR should be around 11:1. What can you do if it is higher than that in the 13 to 14 range? Would that concern you that the engine was running too lean?

Actually for his map his AFRs should be low 12s which is exactly where they are (at least for the bank he is logging).

I wasn't talking about his log, I was talking about my log where at the start of the pull it was in the 13's and actually went up to 15 before coming down to the low 12's. Is this a sign of a problem or is that normal?

Question

OK,

so I was bored on the plane and decided to as this question?

I searched, but then again its a tough one to search.

When flashing COBB, as normal I get the "Transmission Malfunction" no big deal happened since day 1.

But the thing I noticed directly after flash since my pro e-tune MAPs and I think v401 and 402 OTS MAPs my car starts up in 3rd Gear and when shifting into reverse after flash I get a big jerk in the transmission, as if it went from 3rd to reverse.

anyone else having this experience on AT's?
