I had Eibach Pro Kit springs on my car with stock shocks. It was really bouncy/floaty over bumps, cornering, and turns. On smooth roads no issues. I switched to Koni FSDs and it's stiffer, more compliant, depending on the potholes it can be a more jarring, and tighter on corners. At this point, really happy with the improvement. Honestly you can probably live with stock shocks. And my friend actually preferred the ride comfort of stock shocks. Also hope you're going for Sport and not Racer.

I'm running the exact setup for 3mos. right now and have no prob at all. Improved handling specially on corners and the comfort is almost the same.

I have installed many H&R spring kits on many german cars. Great fit. Will NOT ruin your factory shock. If you are using a race spring or using your car for track type of events then you should probally get a coil over setup.
For every day driving you will be fine with their sport spring.

Just installed the H&R Sports last week on my 2007 e90. I'm using the stock ZSP struts with no unusual behavior. I will say that with my 19" wheels, the ride is much more harsh when compared to the stock ZSP springs.
