I believe my front driveshaft is shot and was wondering if there are any upgrades available for the xi platform. saw a lot of threads about the idea of it but i dont think i saw anything get produced.

I have no clue but being it’s just a driveshaft why not call or take it to a driveshaft shop and ask them? Beefier ujoints?

I'd think your transfer case will fail before the driveshaft

Have it rebuilt with new u-joints. D.L.S. of Atlanta (770-242-9366) will do it for around 350 plus shipping. My u-joint near the transfer case seized. Not unusual. The dealer quoted me over a grand for a new BMW part.
