Please don't shot me

I was wondering if anyone lived near keighley Bradford, as there is a car I have seen

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... gcode=visc

But it is a long way to travel just to have a look.
And I was hoping someone could pop in and check it over for me
I know keighley has a awful reputation but I was hoping that this car might of slipped through the net

Many thanks

Something's fishy if they're saying it's a 2005 with a pic of an e90 lol. Vehicle summary also says "unlimited mileage" under "standard manufacturer's warranty", which we know is 100% bs. BMW doesn't give us unlimited anything under warranty.

edit: disclaimer at the bottom says summary info is a generalization of similar/recent models, but iunno "unlimited mileage" is nowhere near the truth, so it still feels off lol, especially with the price being really quite low, and the mileage on it not readily listed. Yup fishy as fuck imo.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

All the stuff in the 'summary' tabs is just library data that Autotrader hold. Nothing to do with the seller.

Why is it a lol for a 2005 car with a pic of an E90?

It'll be a high miler. That's all they tend to sell.

Have you spoken to the dealer on the phone?

In the States and Canada the first year model available was classified as 2006 model even though it sold in 2005. That's why the poster thought something seemed fishy.

That dealer is notoriously bad. I have never seen a good review of them.

I have no personal experience of them but I wouldn't touch a car from them.

Guaranteed. If a dealer puts every detail in but leaves out the mileage on a low priced car...one previous owner Capt James T Kirk.

It can seem temping because of the price, but really think it through because if a deal seems too good to be true, it invariably is - mega high mileage means lots of components coming to the end of their life.

My advice stay well clear. They seem to have a lot of nice cars very cheap but in reality they have a lot of crap. Been to look at a couple of cars there over the years and what a waste of time. Cars are never as described and the owner is an absolute two hat. Don't waste your time or money

Ive never used them nor would I consider it. I live nearby and they have a shocking rep, a couple of mates have bought from there and had sheds.

Far too many horror stories about them.

That said, most still come from the Jap import days. I think it's fair to say that nearly all the Jap import companies were the very same.

Selling absolute rubbish.

They don't seem to state the milage for any of their cars. Every time I have phoned them about a car which seemed ok on the advert it has had very very high miles on it. Never been to look at their cars as the mileage has always put me of travelling.

As an aside, original 3 year BMW warranty is unlimited mileage - that maybe is where that line came from. But BMW AUC warranty wouldn't have that.

Don't even go near it - I often pop in there to see what vehicles they have when visiting the in-laws, but I'd never buy from them.

Echo what everyone else has said - nothing but horror stories.
