they're actually widely known around some forums. they do a lot of mail order business for end consumers. if you use the stuff a lot, they're a fair priced source on a drum. the race gas i buy in dallas at a special pump runs about the same cost breakdown as a 55-gallon drum from their site.

you might also want to check with motorsport ranch houston, they probably have race gas too. i get my race gas from motorsport ranch here near dallas, they have an actual drive up pump with 3 flavors of race gas, including leaded fuels.

also, most drag strips usually have a couple drums of 100 octane, but it's going to be taxed. drag strip race gas gets pretty pricey. hope this helps

i wouldn't run it. it will foul your catalytic converters and eventually cause your O2 sensor to fail.

Aviation gas is 100 octane low lead (100 LL)... I guess the lead could be low enough levels not to matter, but probably not worth taking a chance on your car.

i have run 100LL in my acura while i was in pilot school. i only ran a couple tanks but the performance difference was negligible. the lead concentration in blue fuel (100LL) is a lot lower than leaded race fuels, but i still wouldn't run it long term. the whole point of leaded fuels is to reduce detonation and pre-ignition, but that really isn't a problem in modern engines with on-the-fly timing adjustment like that in vanos.
