BMW diffuser - which one?

Who knows the differences??

I'm just after the black plastic one to fit as it comes, not primed or carbon.

There's this option:

....And there's this option (item 9):

This is one part, called a 'diffuser kit' - it says primed, but is it different to to the one listed in the first option?

They're both the same.
The first one is just the back end of the second one, and the kit includes the Performance rear bumper.
If you order item 9 on it's own (which is the same part number as item 2), you can fit this into the Performance rear bumper or the M Aerodynamics rear bumper.

It comes in primer.

Cheers anneka.

I had heard people talking about fitting the black plastic one rather than a primed one that needed painting.

I don't want a painted one.

Garage List
Mike, pic of the diffuser (E92, E91 might vary?) here:

The black plastic centre section is not designed to be painted, although I guess you could if it was prepped properly.

You can also get the centre section in CF on the tourer and saloon, but I realise that's not what you want.

Some people have mentioned cutting in certain places, but I never had to do any.

Thanks Ian,

I think the e90/91 is different to the coupe, but I remember Yahoo fitting the unpainted plastic one on his tourer.

bit more investigation needed....
