Mentlegen (and ladies), they're done. Install wasn't all that bad but I ran into a nice list of issues with other things, a mangled engine mount being one of them, and I'm finally satisfied with the sound. I've still got a little work to do and I've got BIG plans and unrealistic ideas (being honest. Haha) for what I want to do with everything behind the headers, but I'm not gonna say what they are quite yet.
Hopefully this video from Cars & Coffee Charlotte today will do until I can get some fly by's, in car shots, gopro footage, etc. for you guys. Let me know what you think! I also thought I'd include a video of my car idling with open headers after I installed them. I drove it like this for almost a week and although it was extremely unpleasant, I got a lot of looks of disapproval, approval, confusion, disgust, constipation, etc. and it was fun while it lasted! It was great to be able to express my displeasure with other people's driving simply by dropping two gears and popping the throttle in for a second just to make the car yell. it sounded nuts at higher RPM's. But the last day I had them open, it rained and I had to keep the windows up. I couldn't hear myself think over all the resonant bass in the car. My windows were shaking like crazy. I should also mention that I had a problem with my o2 sensors (I couldn't actually feel the misfires because my car was shaking from the open headers, so it took a couple days for me to fix the problem) so the amount of fuel getting dumped into the cylinders was hilariously high, and I know someone will probably call BS on this, but my car was spitting flames on decel. This install was more of an experience than anything. Wasn't hard, but it took a lot of fine tuning. I changed a gasket on cylinder #6 twice during it. So that header was installed a total of three times. Anyway I'm happy with them and I think Gavin did a fine job. Now it's time for me to get going on something really awesome for the rest of the exhaust system!

Is that headers alone? No aftermarket muffler or resonator delete?

Wasn't MMW being bashed on a thread on here? Anyways car definitely sounds nice but how loud is it? It sounds like my E90 with headers back sr8 pipes connected to an Ikon exhaust ( No post cat)

I think the majority of the bashing came from the failed supercharger promises or delays with making the headers. The headers themselves are fantastic.

Are you pretty happy with those SR pipes? I may want the secondary cat delete section that they sell if I don't decide to take the time and tig weld every bend I'll need if I go through with a titanium setup.

Hey guys, I updated the thread with a little more information which is, admittedly, almost all completely superfluous, but nevertheless I hope you guys enjoy it
The new video of my car idling with open headers is just downright badass though. I mean listen to that beautiful, ear shattering valve tick! It's just so angelic! Or something

Wont pass emission testing. No longer in production. Supersprint are the only headers left in production.

ARMAspeed have headers too, mixed reviews when paired with supercharger of theirs, somethign to do with piping diamters or shapes...
Also, I would say SS prices did drop too from a quote that I got. Their design is based on SS V1 for e46 /m3. So ask them.
