Agreed 100%. My e90 335 is a manual, so this would be a summer weekend cruiser.

Seems like a pretty good deal. How familiar are you with these cars? After 11+ years and 80k they start to need work. Unless you can DIY, you need to factor this into the price. Rob (cyphr) sent me some great information a little while back, I can dig it up if you want.

I'm kinda/sorta looking for an E36 M3 as a weekend car too. In no hurry at all though, and still haven't found the right car at the right price.

I sold my 99 m3 (coupe) with 77k miles last year fro 14k. 6k Wow. That seems low.

I didn't know that the 99 m3 had a "sport package". Wonder what that means.

To reiterate what Joe said, ~80k is where you're looking at a full cooling system overhaul, replacing shocks, bushings, mounts, etc... With the price you'll be paying for maintenance (even if you do the labor yourself), it won't end up being a good deal. I'd pass.

E36 m3s were default "sport package". The lux package was an option.
