Best Socal Tuning Shops (Top 3)
Hey there forum,
I'm curious to know what shops everyone uses for their modding these days. I know socal has a huge selection of shops, so obviously its to our advantage as consumers to be able to pick and choose who we send our business. Question is, who are your top 3 socal tuning shops, and most importantly, WHY?! Sharing is caring, and would definitely like to hear other peoples opinions and feedback. I know every shop has it's own fanboys, so if you feel inclined to "rep" your shop, please provide some reasons as to why. Thanks in advance and hoping to hear some varied responses!

FSR Motorsports HANDS DOWN makes it to the top 3.
They build 1000+HP Supra's, Single Turbo E46 M3's, got a SERIOUS build on an M3 Coupe, etc etc. Just google them or watch their youtube videos.

I might be biased but LTMW has to be my #1 pick since they worked on my previous E90 335, numbers of flawless transformations and now my E92 M3...what can I say? Every work they did on my cars surpassed my expectation. I couldn't be happier with my shop choice. I am anxious, picky, and want my car to look coo, LTMW kept me happy for the past 4-5 years, seems legit
#2 has to be EAS, I dealt with them for few stuffs and trust me I am not even their regular customer but they always took care of me like I was their customer forever. Very professional. #3 "If ever I believe my work is done... then I start Back at One......yeah yeah~." |

Thanks for that rec! You're the first to bring them up, between e90post.com and m3post.com so I'll definitely look into them too!!

Thank you sir! It's definitely a work in progress. There would be more progress but some unforeseen setbacks have slowed things down a lot..

Also it's very interesting to see the differences of recommendations between e90post and M3post alone.
The majority of e90post members rec LTMW VS The majority of m3post members rec MRF, EAS, Trinity, AUTOTALENT etc. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much for the information so far, and hopefully this is useful for anyone else also!

Thanks for the info. So you're saying go to FSR Motorsports or Cobb for major performance mods and LTMW for simple bolt on performance installs? Just wanted to clarify.

Why not go to the shop that can do extensive major performance mods for the simple bolt on mods? One-stop shop. If they can build turbo kits from scratch, I'm sure installing downpipes would be a piece of cake assuming they are good products from the start. Or hell, just have them make you custom downpipes that way you KNOW the fitment will be nothing short of perfect? FSR also does custom intercoolers, plumbing, etc etc.

Yes, indefinitely recommending them. They've had me as a customer for over 9 years. They're now some of my best friends there. Just Youtube search FSR Motorsports, or visit their website for some cool builds. They've worked on Frederick Aasbo's Supra, along with many MANY other awesome and ridiculous fast builds. They just fixed and updated a popular and very fast Yellow Porsche 911 Turbo that pushes out 900+, multiple 1000+hp Supra's, many M3's and 335's, record-breaking 3000GT VR4's, etc etc. They even completed my Single Turbo VR4 build when I dropped the ball half way through.

Had a couple pro tunes done at FSR and was impressed with them. They're definitely professionals and would trust them with my car for any work.

So anyone else have any suggestions? For some reason e90post has less suggestions than M3post. Anyone do anything besides cosmetic mods here?
