H&r coilover front bump stops???
Are you supposed to reuse the stock bump stops? It doesn't seem like there is anything under the h&r coilover dust shield. Are you supposed to cut/reuse the stock bump stops or are these designed so that you don't need them?

Are they H&R Street Performance coilovers? I was scratching my head on that one too. There should have been a sheet that came with them that mentioned using your stock bump stops, but clearly the stock ones aren't gonna fit over that big of a shaft. I cut them and wrapped them around the shaft with some aluminum tape as a temporary solution, and to be honest I doubt they're still there. I planned to order bump stops with the correct diameter hole but haven't done so yet.

That being said, did you reuse the stock ones on the rears? I haven't had a chance to install the rears yet (it's lowered on H&R sports/stock sport shocks so it doesn't look lame) but am planning to do it this weekend. Where did you set your collars? Mine are all the way up and the car is still low (08 335i e90). |
