What do you think of these tips?

I'm having the mtech rear bumper installed with dual exhaust ports. What do you think of this tip and how far out from the edge of the bumper should the tip extend? The tip dimensions are 4.5 in long, 3.5 in diameter and total cost is $71 shipped.

They are ok, for your car (based on avatar pic) I would go with something more like the dry carbon tips from Cyba:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...a+exhaust+tips

Or maybe the black chrome, to keep the storm trooper looking theme going from tip to tail.

If you didnt put tips on the pipe it would just be an abrupt cut pipe...do you really think that looks better than finishing the exhaust off with a tip?

FYI in real life they are about half as long as that picture. I have the 4" version.

I used those exact same tips on my 335 exhaust conversion. They look really nice. Bought the 3.5 size

Good. I want them to be short. Do you like the 4" tip or do you wish you got the 3.5"?

Its the same. It looks different on a straight back view. You cant really see the double wall.

Did you run the right exhaust pipe directly behind the diffuser? If you did, did you wrap the pipe to prevent excessive heat in the area?
