Rust on door frame e90

I have a 2007 328 that bought 3 weeks ago from a dealer (certified series)
I noticed on 3 of my doors i have some rust developing..
it is occurring in the corner of the metal frame that separates the doors.

i have attached a few pics and circled the rust.
What do you think is the best course of action, do u think the dealer will cover the replacement of these metal trims

I would try the dealer first. The car does have a rust warranty.

2006+ BMWs have a 12 year/unlimited mileage limited rust warranty. I'm not sure what it would take to get BMWNA to cover this, but certainly start with your dealer.

Ok, what gives?

Myself i have an E91 with the same problem (both front doors for some reason but nothing on the back doors), going to dealer tomorrow. Also noticed some rust on the hatch door that i'm going to mention also...

I think rust is only covered if it is through and through.

Angry E91 touring rust

I have a 2007 57 touring. I have rust underneath the weather strips on both front doors. I have been to two BMW body shops. Both of them have tested the grades of paint. No waiting for the test results. Will update once I receive the results back. What this space.

Anyone figured this out? I have the same issue. Are these parts easy to replace?
